Originaire de Buenos Aires, en Argentine, Alejandro est un danseur, chorégraphe et professeur de tango chevronné, avec une longue carrière commencée en 1994. Après s’être formé et avoir dansé dans de prestigieuses compagnies de tango en Argentine, il s’installe en Europe en 2005, où il enseigne en Espagne, en Allemagne, en Italie, en France et aux Pays-Bas.
Avec Gisela Navonit, il a organisé des événements marquants comme l’Explotango Marathon (Catalogne) et créé des espaces culturels à Tarragone (Tarragotango) et à Montevideo (“La Orilla”). Son travail est profondément nourri par la recherche sur l’improvisation, enrichie par la danse contemporaine, le Contact Improvisation, le ballet et le Chi-kung.
Alejandro est également un DJ de tango actif, apportant une sensibilité musicale raffinée aux pistes de danse.
Pour notre festival, il sera le DJ des Jam Milongas, offrant un voyage musical inspirant façonné par des années d’exploration artistique.
Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Alejandro is a seasoned tango dancer, choreographer, and teacher with a long career that began in 1994. After training and performing in renowned tango companies in Argentina, he moved to Europe in 2005, teaching across Spain, Germany, Italy, France, and the Netherlands.
Together with Gisela Navonit, he has organized influential tango events such as Explotango Marathon (Catalonia) and created cultural spaces in Tarragona (Tarragotango) and Montevideo (“La Orilla”). His work is marked by a deep research into improvisation, enriched by contemporary dance, Contact Improvisation, ballet, and Chi-Kung.
Alejandro is also an active tango DJ, bringing his refined musical sensitivity to dance floors.
For our festival, he will be the DJ of the Jam Milongas, offering an inspiring musical journey shaped by years of artistic exploration.
